IMPORTANT TAKE TEN NEWS

Good morning fellow Damsels! Just a quick note to let you know that our Take Ten ed, Catherine is not taking Ten subs until July now, as she has a lot of exam work to get the kids through at school. Let’s wish her luck and strength while she gets the young ‘uns through a tough time!

Short poems of ten lines or less for Take Ten. It would really help editor Catherine if everyone submits poems in an attached document, Microsoft Word, with one poem per page and name and email on every page. Thank you!

For Pod – please mark your submission for this section.

Poems of no more than forty lines. No more than two poems at once please.

POD SECTIONS CURRENTLY CLOSED FOR SUBMISSIONS

LAND OF POMENTOS

Please send your poems and photographs (they must be your property – do not use other people’s work without permission and re-sized to a sensible, usable size) to janeburn1971(at)gmail(dot)com. PLease put ‘Land of Pomentos’ in the subject line. Seth is really looking forward to seeing what you send!

POMETOS SECTIONS CURRENTLY CLOSED FOR SUBMISSIONS

Please send poems in a single attachment with your name on every page. Use Times New Roman font in 12pt. Please don’t submit by posting poems on the actual blog – we will have to remove these and it makes us sad.

We prefer not to accept simultaneous submissions – we editors are reading and considering many poems and when we accept one, only to have to pull it as the writer is sending it elsewhere, it makes us have to have an extra strong cup of tea.

Please do not send us full manuscripts – these ought never to be sent unsolicited anyway! We do not offer a review service either, no matter how many free copies of your book you promise us.

Do please read the submission guidelines – it makes us think that you like us!
